This was a short day, but started with another flat!!!  There was a lot of street biking, which means traffic and stop-lights.  Went to a nice bike shop, the Bike Barn, where I purchased a set of Specialized Armadillo bicycle tires (which means I am no longer actually riding on Continentals), but I was just so sick of changing flats multiple times per day.  They were nice people and gave us a discount.

The place we were staying at was AWESOME!  The Jewish Community Center of Scottsdale, AZ.  Wow!  We spent the afternoon swimming in the pool and then sitting in the spa and steam room.  What a change these luxuries can make on a team.

This was our first Journal Club night, where the team eats out together and discusses an article about international health.  We ended up at a great little Italian place with great food.  The kinda place where patrons can bring whatever alcohol they chose into the restaurant.  There was a great deal of merry making as we all enjoyed the delicious pasta dishes that refueled our tired bodies.
